GRAMMY Awards 2020: Tool, Rival Sons Lead Rock Nominees

(TRR) – The nominees for the 2020 GRAMMY Awards have been announced. This year, Rival Sons, Tool, I Prevail and Gary Clark Jr. lead the rock and alternative catagories with multiple nominations. Late Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell is nominated posthumanously for Best Packaging. The nomination is for his self-titled compilation album that was released after his death.

Also nominated are Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, Cage The Elephant pop-rock juggernauts The 1975, thrash legends Death Angel, and Swedish doom metal mainstays Candlemass. The full list of rock, metal, and alternative nominees can be found below.
